I have a situation where an SFC was scrapped during the manufacturing process.
Due to customer requirements I need for the scrapped SFC to be started at a Pack operation and included in a container to be shipped. the customer requires that all boards get shipped to them whether or not it is good or bad.
anyone worked with this scenario before?
thanks
Hey Rusty! No one on the development team has heard of anyone trying to start a scrapped SFC.

Hi,
For 8 years with ME, I've never heard about any actions with Scrapped SFC, besides Unscrap. Scrapped status implies no possibility of further processing, that is reasonable from the point of economical efficiency at least. So, if they want the "bad" SFC to be moveable further along the router, they will have to substitute their "quasi-scrapped" status with any kind of indication that the SFC had a problem related to scrapping. Whether it would be specific NC Code logged against the SFC or SFC Data or whatever else, it just means that they have adjust their perception of "Scrapped" status and "quasi-scrapped" actual state of SFC.

Sergiy
