Se80 editor - Hide Favourites / Text / etc Window

Hi there

any way of removing the box where you can select favourites/text etc from the main SE80 Web synpro editor -- can't see anywhere in settings to hide this box and unless you have a HUGE monitor this wastes screen real estate.

Most systems I've used don't show these tools but I can't see m to get rid of these.

Hi Jim,

There is no setting or button to disable the View Designer Toolbar but you can grab the drag handle on the toolbar's right-side border and drag the handle all the way to the left, effectively hiding the toolbar. (The change is not remembered by the GUI-- you have to do this each time you open a view for editing or navigate to an editable view).

I share your dislike of the toolbar and hope that SAP will one day either get rid of it entirely or provide a button similar to "Show/Hide Layout Preview" to disable it.
