Unable to implement central note 1775242 after upgrade to 7.1 SP08

Hi All,

We have recently upgraded our solution manager system 7.01 to 7.1 SP 08  ; We are unable to apply central note 1775242 , while trying to apply it , it gives a message "Specify a Language" and stops the execution .

There was a prerequisite note 875986 which We have already applied ,But the error still persists .

Let me know if you have come across this error , kindly help !

Hi Swati,

The master language of 1775242 is German. However, I was successful in applying it to a system where I logged on in English.

Can you apply any note with SNOTE and logged on in English?

I am able to apply other notes successfully in solution manager system with logged in English , but not able to apply this note 1775242

Hi Swati,

As 1775242 is a huge collecting-note, the problem may be related due to one of the many "sub-notes" what has a wrong language identifier.

What you could do:

1) in SNOTE, check the log of 1775242

2) also in SNOTE, reset note implementation of 1775242 ans start from scratch - perhaps there was a temporary problem

3) if it still doesn't help, you may create a SAP ticket on component SV-SMG
