Configuration for MIC to get control chart in QM

Dear friends,

We have implemented SAP ECC 6.0. Now we want to start Control Chart in QM Module.

As per the guide line via SAP help, we try to eneable SPC check box in existing MIC. But system did not allowed.

We would like to have separate MIV for the same. We create New MIC and eneable SPC check box.

We try ti update this MIC in existing Inpsection Plan change mode but it gives many erro.

We understand, it may required initial configuration for our requirement with New MIC.

Please note that we do not have QM module expert who can do configuration.

If possible by providing step by step guide line for the configuration for our requirement, please provide.

If we have to take help of expert of QM Module consultant, please advise.

To use SPC create a new version of the mic.  That should allow you to change the indicator for SPC.

If you are using sampling procedures you will need to update the sampling procedure, (you'll need one with the appropriate valuation type), in the inspection plans when you change the MIC.

In configuration, you probably just have to chek the numbering scheme used for the SPC charts.

That shoud be about it.

Yes as FF said ,create New version of MIC with SPC tick( with Sampling procedure SPC relevant)

Additionally,

1.Make sure that the MIC's that you are using are of reference copy models so that you can centrally replace them with std SAP t codes like QS26 & QS27 in all existing Inspection plans.

2.Make sure that you also active "Replace MIC " @ client level.
