Hi,
SDN becoming part of my life every day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would like to know if it possible to attach screen shots to threads to better understand the problems sometimes like we do for blogs.
Know it occupies more space if everyone attaches, but we can restrict that for each one.
No this is not an option currently, but it is on the list of considerations.

Craig,
I have actually seen a few threads on SDN where images have been attached.
Not sure if I will be able to locate threads now , because I thought it is some new feature which had been enabled on SDN . Maybe there is an "Undocumented" way though?
I for one would not recommend screen shots on the forums, because then all threads on SDN will end up having screen shots and it would take a lot of time and bandwidth for images to get loaded.
There are public Url's where one can upload images and so if screen shots are needed people can be directed to upload them on to a www page and all those who want to take a look can on those pages.
On a lighter side, who knows , my organization might even ask as not to use SDN, because image and video streaming and heavy graphics sites are a strict no - no here and I wouldnt want that to happen.
Just my 2 cents.

you can add a img html tag to your forum entry, but i don't know if there is an official recommendation to don't do it

That was something I was not aware of. Thanks for letting me know.
I am scared to think of the day all of us start posting such images. We might end up seeing threads with only screen shots and more screen shots.
Is this feature really needed? Or is it only me who has apprehensions on where this might lead to?

But, would that still not mean that you are actually loading an image which you would prefer not to?
I would rather prefer that the person posting the question, just point me to the URL where the screen shot is available and if needed I would take a look at it.
Once again, if I am a minority who feels that this feature is not needed, I can live with it. But, if there are many who feel like me, maybe a discussion on this is needed as well.
Regards
Bhavesh
