RG1 register opening balance is differing from previous days closing balance

Hi SAP Gurus,

We are comming across a  problem in the print of RG1 register in J2i6 Tcode.

The issue is normally the quantity of the previous day closing should the opening balance of the following day.

But in our rg1 register print for  some days  the closing balance and opening balance of very next day are differing from each other.

please let me no the reason and how to resolve this issue.

Hi,

Pls READ through the note 1673612 and follow the steps as suggested and maintain the

correct closing balances , re-extract and check.

Hi Sashi,

Check with all these three tables

1.J_1IRG1

2.J_1IRGSUM

3.J_2IRG1BAL

and compare the same with stock in T.Code: MB5B. Also check with the movements types with which you are updating J1I5 both reciepts and issues.

Opening and closing balances in RG1 register are displayed from table J_2IRG1BAL. System automatically updates this table based on the receipt and issues of RG1 provided you have updated the RG1 register correctly through J1I5. So, check the entries in this table and analyze the mismatch balances.
