Characteristic values for scheduling pop up in ATP Simulation

Hi experts,

In our APO system, when I do ATP simulation from the transaction /SAPAPO/AC04, only for few users, we are getting the "Characteristic values for scheduling" popup with Weight group and Model name as the characteristics.

Why is it appearing for only few users? How can we switch it on/off for an user?

Appreciate your help on this.

Hi Manimaran ,

For ATP simulation, if you are checking the availability(simulation)against a Goods issue date or delivery date you have to provide the values for the characteristics in order to determine the correct dates(APO scheduling).

Can you please check if the users who are not receiving this pop up are checking against MBDATE or GIDATE ?

Hi,

Can you provide more details, like whether you are using Characteristic based forecasting and/or doing any basic check on forecast (as per ur check instructions).?

My assumption is, if you are using CBF and u have those Characteristics in CVC/Selection profiles and these selection profiles are assigned to few users, and are able to see this pop up when those users are trying to do check.

if so, check the CBF profile/POS and update the values.
