SAP XIAFC removal

Hello people.

My basis team installed by mistake SAP XIAFC 7.11 component in our 7.31 landscape when trying to apply the solution described in thread http://scn.sap.com/thread/3330198.

That seems to lead us to some errors. They are trying to remove this component but they can't do it because 7.31 version doesn't have SDM or JSPM, The new deploy tool is called SUM (software update manager) and they can't find where to remove the undesired component.

Can any of you give us a hint of how to achieve this?

Can it be removed from "Software Components" in SLD?

Try to use the Undeployment view within the NetWeaver Development Studio (NWDS)

Hello,

There is no supported method of removing a Software Component from the PI system. You may be able to use Telnet to delete this component but I don't think having this on your system will cause much difficulty. XIAFC is not used in 7.11.
