Hai,
Where in ECC, I mean table, can I find the list of categories(that are ATP categories in APO) with their descriptions. For example sales order is category BR. I guess its a text table.
Thank you.
try
SPRO=>Advanced Planning and Optimization=>Global Available-to-Promise (Global ATP) =>General Settings=>Maintain Category.

Hi Visu,
What Shibu has pointed out is the best to map order elements (requirements, receipts, stocks) between APO and R/3 or ERP system. ATP Category mapped to different keyfigures in SNP through Category Group on the APO side corresponds to the appropriate MRP element on the R/3 or ERP side.
Taking your example:
Sales Order ATP Category is BM while MRP Element is VC
But Inquiry ATP Category is BK while MRP Element is VA.
Check OMD5 in your ERP system and you shall see the MRP elements and the corresponding descriptions.
Hope this answers your question.
Thanks,
Somnath
Hi Somanth,
Thanks for the reply. I know the location to find ATP categories. What I was thinking is there would be ATP category in ECC side also, which now I understand is MRP element.
One more questions:
what is the counter part for:
Item category(in VA03 ite detail tab in ECC) in APO?
Thank you.
