Hi, Thought I would share this as there doesn't appear to be a SAP note describing it.
On an IBM i7.1 host with ECC6 / 720 kernel, many objects (type *PGM and *SRVPGM) starting with SAPnnnnnnn in the QRPLOBJ library are being generated, these consume many GB of disk storage. If you don't IPL regularly then this could get to be quite large.
The solution was to install the most recent SAPHOSTAGENT update (e.g. 720 patch 157), and then the creation of these objects will be reduced.
For the 'SAP' objects already existing in QRPLOBJ they can be deleted manually or will be deleted after IPL by the SCPF system job -
Message . . . . : Object SAP00001N8 in QRPLOBJ type *PGM deleted.
regards, Michael.
Hi Michael,
How about note 1843042?

Thomas
