Hi Team ,

While doing application server installation i am getting this error

An error occurred while processing option SAP Enhancement Package 1 for SAP NetWeaver 7.3 > Oracle > Additional SAP System Instances > Additional Application Server Instance( Last error reported by the step: System call failed. Choose Retry to repeat the current step.

Choose Log Files to get more information about the error.

Stop the option and continue with it later.

Log files are written to PATH OF LOG FILE/SID_1/sapinst_instdir/NW731/ORA/ORA/AS/APPS.

What user you use for installation? You need to use privileged user.

Hi,

You should check the permission for /usr/sap/SID/SYS/exe/uc/linuxx86_64 and other involved folder as the system is issuing utime of linux function to check/set the read/write permission.

Check/Provide the sapinst_dev.log.

Are the permission of the involved folder correctly set?
