ESS 633 Leave Request Modification without NWDI

Hi,

i am looking for a way of modifying the ess~lea 633 component for the 7.3 Portal without the NWDI.

We have currently issues with our NWDI (based on JDK 1.4) and a ticket with SAP is open.

Is there a way of just using the Developer Studio to make a change ?
I noticed that in the ESS SCA package is under SOURCEARCHIVE a file DTRSAP_ESS.sc containing probably the jave source code, but i cannot open it....

Any help is welcome

No way found. Fortunately our NWDI is working now with the ESS 633 track too.

Setup for Java 1.6 was not done in NWDI.

If up till now you have not made any changes to this component could it then be a possibility for you to download the package from SAP, do the changes in NWDS and manually deploy it?

Alternatively have get this DC from someone else that can check it out of NWDI?
