Issues in creating technical system :: CIM_ERR_ALREADY_EXISTS

Hi All,

There are some issues while creating technical system. I did go through some of the blogs as below:

I tried deleting technical system and then SAP Installed Product in content maintenance.

Everytime I do the above and try to create fresh technical system I get the below error:

CIM_ERR_ALREADY_EXISTS: Instance already exists: SAP_BCApplicationServer.CreationClassName="SAP_BCApplicationServer",Name="SID.Number.00.HostName.abcd1002a"

Hi Adi,

Same issue was faced earlier by me , while creating the TS in SLD.

Check whether are you maintaing two SLD's : Central SLD and Local SLD.

we deleted the TS in local SLD and stoped the syncronization of local SLD with Central SLD for a while.

and recreated the TS in Central SLD after that made synchronization with local SLD.

Once the synchronization is complete the TS which is created in the Central SLD will be created in local SLD automatically.

Can you please explain a little on how to check If there is a single or two SLDs maintained. Please elaborate a little on synchronization of SLDs too. I am a newbie to Netweaver, sorry for the inconvenience.

What could be the issue? I am able to create business system as well with that error in Technical system creation.
