Error installing Diagnostic Agent 7.3

Hello experts, we are trying to install the Diagnostics Agent 7.3 SP 3 in our BO 4.0 application, an we are getting the following error when launching the sapinst:

Hello to everybody, thanks for the responses, we are going to try the installation again in a few days (that task is stopped now), and I will let you know, if we got problems after following the recommendations.

Hi,

    Download lates Diagnosticss Agent from Market place 730SP03, it has it's own sapinst and JVM, use this sapinst to uninstall current Agent and install the new versión.

    There will be not this kinds of errors, also check that Installation Media has permissions set to 777

What user you use for installation? You need to use root user. How you perform installation of Diagnostics Agent: with SWPM or using standalone diagnostics agent DVD?

Hello Roman, We are using the root user, and the media was downloaded from the SAP Marketplace

Can you provide more info about:

1) oslevel;

2) on which step crash occurred;

3) check for generated files for crash and if exists attach it;

4) be more specific on agent media DVD used or download the latest and try again.
