Procedure to Modify UWL text - SC / PO

Hello ,

Requirement : To modify the UWL text .

Eg : Once a SC / PO is created , it is routed for approval. Without opening the WI the user can approve/reject the Doc.

As on date the standard message reads -----------> Action <Approve> performed successfully.

We want to modify the message . Any clue as to where the same (  Action <Approve> performed successfully ) need to modified ?

Hi Ramesh,

It seems you are using the NWBC, right?

You can check then the following:

1791968   Inbox: Status message contains technical info of

1703117 -  Error message displaying technical details

The action is maintained at table IBO_C_WF_TTAC:

SAPSRM_IBO_INBOX  TS79007914                OLDWFL.APPROVE

SAPSRM_IBO_INBOX  TS79007914                OLDWFL.REJECT

Hi Melina ,

Thanks for your inputs .Yes we are using NWBC.

Unfortunately we are still not able to change the standard messaeg text to custmized message text.

Any other thoughts to change the message ?

Hi Ramesh,

you said you use NWBC, but provided screenshot from portal.

For NWBC you can try to set breakpoint in the method CL_IBO_INBOX_FEEDER_WI->HANDLE_SPECIAL_ACTION to see, how the messages generated.

Hi Ramesh,

I think you should ask portal experts fro that. Message comes not from SRM.

Actually from portal a function module /SAPSRM/FU_WF_RFC_DECISION is called.

UWL ignores it's output until errors occured.
