QA01 with stock transfer

Hi gurus,

Do anyone know if its possible to create a inspection lot wit stock transfer option.

Anytime I created an inspection lot using QA01 the "Inspection lot stock" is not display. Its possible to make this option works ?? I want to create a 09 or 08 inspection lot.

You can have a 08 type lot relevant to stock posting through IM movements:

(a) Activate 08 inspection type in material master.

(b) Post 322 movement in MB1B transaction to move stock from unrestricted to quality inspection.

(c) Inspection lot will be created, and that will be stock posting relevant.

I would like to know , if possible , the business requirement for which you are  exploring inspection lot origin 09 or 08  to be created manually ?  Is it like few stock transfers to be quality checked and few can be passed without any check by quality ?

QA01 is for manual creation. When lot is created manually. It would not be stock relevant.

Do as suggested ny Mr. Sujit.

Use 08 Inspection type and its not possible to create this lot manually through QA01.

Oly possible by IM t-codes like MB1B >>311 etc

You can't create Inspection Lot for which stock movement has been involved.

08 and 09 are involving stock movements. Only for 03, 89 & any equally customized inspection types, its possible to do it through QA01.
