Hi Gurus,
Following point: I try to instal SAP NetWeaver ABAP Trial Version 7.03.
By the installation in step one "creating user" i get following error message (from the logfile):
Could not read the profile path for user S-1-5-21-1037899709-540295885-904245438-1009 from the registry: The system cannot find the file specified.
I look in the registry but i dont have the path with the ending *****-1009. I have the entries ****-1001 and ****-1045.
Thanks for you help.
Serdal

Is this also an issue with the rights?
I execute the .exe file in this way:
right click on the .exe fil and choose "run as administrator".
Anybody an idea?
Thanks
Serdal

Hi,
For this please refer to the below blog
http://scn.sap.com/message/8026270#8026270
Was there any old sap system installed on that machine? if there was it removed correctly if you are using the same SID?
What's the java version that you are using.
Thanks

Please check if you have admin rights..Seems like authorisation issue for me.

Hi Serdal,
In case of Windows you need to use Administrator while incase of unix use root user for performing SAP installations.
Hope this helps.

Hi Serdal,
Do not use user <sapsid>adm for the installation
For the installation of your SAP system and the latest Support Package (SP), do not use the user <sapsid>adm. For a local installation you can use a local user, for a domain installation you must use a domain user. Both users must be members of the Local Administrators group.
Delete all keys in registry (regedit) with: S-1-5-21-1037899709-540295885-904245438-1009. You can do it by find it - F3.
After that restart sapinst.
thanks
