On TDMS 4.0 Implemetion

Hi All,

We are working on TDMS 4.0.

Right now we are testing an example project, with time based reduction in CRM.

In the process tree at present we are in Package setting phase.

Here we didnt get any errors till " Specify the Data Slice Date"....then we specified the date and then executed that step again...where we see SAP_APPL component is required in the sender system for validation.

One of my Colleague says he didnt face this issue, when working previously. So we are in dilemma whether we should continue or not. So we want to know,

If we continue without that component what are the errors that we might face later?

or is it fine to continue with this error.

We are using Solution manager as Central and control system

CRM production system as sender system

CRM sand box system as receiver system.

Your suggestions are needed.

Hello Venkat,

You are correct that there are no requirements for SAP_AAPL component in a CRM time based package activity " Specify the Data Slice Date".

I would suggest you to raise a message in the component CA-TDM-BUS-CRM to get the issue reviewed by the concerned developers.
