You do not have permission to access service WSMessageListener

Hi to all,

I'm using MII 12.0 SP04.

i configured MII Message Listner to receive IDOC from PI system. in PI i configured this link:

http://<servername>:<serverport>/XMII/Illuminator?service=WSMessageListener&mode=WSMessageListenerServer&NAME=<NAME>&Session=true&content-type=text/xml

When i try to send an idoc i receive this error:

application
[XMII] Processing HTTP request to servlet [Illuminator] finished with error.

The error is: com.sap.xmii.Illuminator.logging.LHException: You do not have
permission to access service WSMessageListener
Exception id:
[005056A97A3B008300002D5B000010F00004E1DB4957870D

The user works fine, user and password are correct.

In MII12.2 i configured a special role with a particulary action "XMII_MessageListenerService" but in 12.0 i haven't found this action.

Some ideas?

thanks

Andrea

Hello Andrea,

As far as I know, in MII 12.0, you can directly assign roles from MII Admin Screen.

Under Security Services-->System Security, choose WSMessageListener from the drop down. By default, Administrator role is added. If you are a Administrator/Super Administrator you can edit the screen and add your roles to the service.

Regards,

Tufale Ashai.
