Hi,
In the sap report, there is a chart "user activity" showing the numbers of logged on users and active users in our sap system.
Can someone explain the difference between logged-on and active users?
Thanks.

Hi Kelvin
Logged on users mean - Number of users are logged on SAP system you can find in the T-code
AL08 -current global logged on user display, (Within SID all servers)
SM04 -shows the logged on users of current server. (Single server)
Active users mean - Users are concurrently executing the actions in the SAP system (like - transactions/Reports/Background job/Spool service/RFC services/Enque services) you can find the same action in T code
SM66- Global work process status (Within SID all servers)
SM50 - Work process status of Current server (single server)
Thanks & Regards
Sriram
