Adding a Custom Field in Contract document !!

Hi,

I am new to CLM

I was trying to add new field to contract document, between description and contract document type.

I went to extension Definition under configuration and tried both “contract document type” and “contract document” in “Extended Class Name field “but could not add new custom field under description.

Can anybody help me on this?

Hi Roopesh,

You can create an Extension Field for class Contract Document and using page customization you can place it in between field Description and Contract Document type.

Hi Roopesh,

To create an extension field on contract document:

Setup --> System setup --> ExtensionDefinition

choose Contract document --> create a new extension field (I created a sample extnesion field called PHASE_NAME of type string)

Note: the Display After attribute

Hi Bindu,

I did the same thing, see my results,

I don't see my customized field here, I can see my Customized field only after filling and saving the document, again if I go in to the contract then I can see my customized field.

How can see my contract document before, I save the document?
