Hi Folks,

When I try to execute and test any display template on MII 14.0.2, the browser just shows loading symbol, and the java console in the background keeps giving me the following error:

network: Connecting http://<server name>:<port>/XMII/Classes/META-INF/services/javax.xml.parsers.DocumentBuilderFactory with proxy=DIRECT

network: Connecting http://<server name>:<port>/XMII/Classes/META-INF/services/javax.xml.parsers.DocumentBuilderFactory with cookie "saplb_*=(J2EE5058320)5058350; JSESSIONID=lyveWobn40vJRfTH6-PP9RfPaRuoPwEuL00A_SAPiD3mn4aBMgaim-F2oI-ez4FV; JSESSIONMARKID=HybFjQi5njMzch_lBUPXFhVV9X4IAh-bQn-C4vTQA; __utmc=217244178; __utma=217244178.377492697.1372915511.1372915511.1372915511.1; __utmb=217244178.0.10.1372915511; __utmz=217244178.1372915511.1.1.utmcsr=(direct)|utmccn=(direct)|utmcmd=(none); __utmc=114621573; __utma=114621573.819786647.1372915711.1372915711.1372915711.1; __utmb=114621573.0.10.1372915711; __utmz=114621573.1372915711.1.1.utmcsr=<server name>:<port>|utmccn=(referral)|utmcmd=referral|utmcct=/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/xapps~xmii~ui~admin~navigation/NavigationApplication"

These 3 lines keep coming back to back for around 2-3 mins then the applet says No Data Available. and console gives the following errors:

Not sure what is wrong here. If I close the console, I get No data available on the browser. This never happened with any previous versions.

My IE is 8, and JRE is 1.6.0_45

i also tried with Chrome, still get the same error. Please advise. Is it something to do with role authorizations?

Gita

Thanks guys for the reply.

But I have already tried using these JRE, it does not help.

I noticed that the applets do get loaded, but only after 30 mins from the time i start the applets. It's like taking a lifetime to open them.

As anyone encountered this issue before and has any new patch been released to resolve this?

Gita

I read in few threads that disabling the next generation java plugin helps the applet render faster... you can check that... in control panel of windows--java--advanced--disable the next generation plugin check box..

I am not sure if it will work..but you can give it a try

Hi Gita,

Is it an SPC Chart?

There was a performance related fix that was made for all applet types in MII 14.0 SP2 Patch 1. Are you on the MII14.0.2 Patch1 version?

Thanks Rutika,

I am on 14.0.2 patch 1.

Does there exist any OSS note describing this issue and the solution around it?

Gita

Hi Gita,

Please use JRE-6 update 29 32 bit version and applets should run fine without issues.

Thanks,
Rutika
