PFCG : how to maintain role description

Hi,

we implemented SRM 4.0 and our customer will log on in italian.

The customer asked us to maintain the role description via PFCG (we create new role copying existing single roles) even if the description is not displayed by the end user.

The system allows to maintain the description only if you connect in german language, but is you connect later in other language the description is not changed at all.

PLS can you help?

Hi,

Translation of role description is directly not possible in transaction PFCG. You have to use transaction SE63 for that. Please refer to OSS note 854311 and related notes for a solution.
