Can anyone please let me know how the datacleansing can be done in MDM?

Hi Vinoth,

As mentioned by Mir, you can go for an extremely effiecient feature provided by MDM as matching and merging to find the duplicates in your repository.I n matching mode itself, You have to define Transformations, rules and strategies on base of which you have to find the duplicates. You Just run the strategies on your records, it will tell you all the duplicate records based on scores.

And after finding the relevenat duplicated you can merge them according to your business requirement.

In addition to Mir's Pdf. Below is also a Step-by-step guide for performing this functioanlity.

Now, apart from Matching/Merging functionality MDM also provides Validations feature through which you can create your validation expression in Data Manager  and run those on your sets of record to cleanse the data.
