Dear all,
I need guidance for the following:
1.we entered into a rebate agreement with the Customer for a business volume of 1 million USD. The fiscal year end is Dec. 2007..say. But in the month of Dec if we realise that we have had business of only usd 950,000 i.e. usd 50,000 is falling short. Can we settle this Rebate Agreement in this condition? Can we pass on the 3% rebate agreed to the customer.( Can this be a partial settlement scenario?)
2. We realised that in the month of September itself we have reached the targeted volume of business with this customer. Can we prematurely settle this? There is no likelihood of any more orders from this customer for the balance three months.
I would appreciate advise on the above.
Regards and Thanks in advance.
