Workcenter location change - in First Navigation bar

Hello Experts,

In my CRM 7.0 ehp2 system when i run tcode crm_ui, it shows the following screen

In that if we click the "index" work center

So my current requirement is that I want to see that product catalog button in first page left hand side where "interactive record", interactive history", lead etc button are there.

From my side what I did

create a copy of business role IC_AGENT to ZIC_AGENT and assign workcenter loaction unselect the inactive button . Save it to new role and assign it to user XXXX . but when the user login into system finds the same "product catalog " in the 2nd navigation bar .

Any hint or idea whether i have to perform anything else or missed something here

Did you change the position number in NavBarProfil?

Yes, you should change the position to insert the Product Catalog or what ever.

Put the Product catalog between Interactive record and Interactive history.

For Ex. if AR is 10 and IH is 20, give the Product catalog tthe number 15.

Change the position of product catalog , regenerate the associate role. Now when running crm_ui same situation.

Hi,

Please create a New Direct Link Group (ZDLG_PC) as shown below and assign "ISA-RTPCAT".

Then assign this ZDLG_PC to the Nav Profile.

Also make it Visible as shown below:

If you want the same at Work Centre level - Create a Z-Work Centre and perform the allied settings. - If you are not sure please let me knwo for any help in this regard..

Hi Jahab,

In Business Role ( ZIC_AGENT ), activate the work centre as shown below.

And maintain the position no in Navigation bar profile, assign work centres as per Yoro Ba.

Please check the following settings.

Let me tell you the simple steps i performed.

1. Defined Z business role by copying standard role IC_AGENT.

2. Open the Navigation bar profile which is assigned to the Z business role and maintain the position no as 21 for the Work centre id 'ISA-RTPCAT'.

3. Open the Z business role.  Select the 'Adjust Work Centres' and uncheck the 'Inactive' option for the work centre id 'ISA-RTPCAT'.

4. Restart the Web UI and login into Z business role.
