Hi All,
I need to configure Technical monitoring in such a way that:
1. It sends auto-email for Red and yellow alerts.
2. It sends auto-SMS for only Red alerts.
Is it possible in Solution manager 7.1 SP06.. ?

Hi Rohan,
For this feature, you will have to wait for SP9.
Till SP8, you can setup alerts (SMS ones) for "Green to Red" threshold types only.
Please let me know for any further clarifications needed.

SP09 isn't being released for Solution Manager, they are jumping to SP10.

Hi Rohan,
It can be possibly achieved in the following way:
1. Setup a third party reaction for an alert.
2. In the BAdI implementation check the alert rating,then
3. If yellow/Red-> Trigger a reaction
4. If other status -> Do not perform anything.

Out of the box I don't think this is supported, its all or nothing.
A quick solution would be to change the threshold to be green > red for the various templates that you are looking to setup.
