Upgrade VIRSAHR 530_700 to GRCPIERP_V1000

We are in ECC 6.0 EHP6 with the belowGRC addons

VIRSAHR 530_700  - SP18

VIRSANH  530_731 - 0000

Now we are going for GRC AC/PC 10.0 version, so we will have to install the below components in our above ECC 6.0 system, so that it can connect to GRC 10.0.

GRCPIERP_V1000

GRCPINW_V1000

- Should we directly install the above add-ons in the ECC 6.0 system using SAINT?

- Will the older add-ons VIRSAHR & VIRSANH still exist in the system?, can't we get rid of it?

Dear Senthil,

You can have a co-existence of GRC 5.3 and GRC 10 components. 

You can run them simultaneously according to SAP notes 1680268, 1662113.

1655924 As of GRCPINW SP05, it is possible to use the VIRSANH 5.3 functionality. However, please keep in mind that when installing the GRCPINW SP05 (GRC AC 10 Plug-in), that the VIRSANH RTA disappears from SPAM.  This is is expected behavior, however the functionality of the VIRSANH 530 RTA is still available with the GRC AC10 Plug-in.

According to SAP note 1590030, the AC 10.0 Plug-in Support Pack 4 (SP04) contains the code which is of 5.3 VIRSANH SP16 and VIRSAHR SP14. Please upgrade to GRCPINW - SP04.

PLEASE NOTE  This is only meant to be a temporary solution during

transition and cutover to AC 10.0.
