Result Recording Inspected Quantity

Dear Team,

I am New in QM. Now I have one question.

I have created production order with Order Quantity 2

One inspection lot gets generated with inspection type "03". Now i want to record the result for Inspection lot. In Result Recording inspection quantity is showing as 1, but my Production order quantity is 2.

now please check the following details which i have maintained.

In MIC creation in QS21 i have tick for Summery recording and Required Char.

now can somebody tell me how we can have Inspection Quantity 2 in Result Recording.

but when i go for result recording it will show inspect Quantity as 1 Please help me out in this.

Hi

Sampling procedure screenshot is not viewable.

You have done the changes after the lot creation. Changes will affects from new lot.

If you want to reflects changes in existing lot, then reset sample calculation in t-code QAC3 it is only possible when lot is in Rel mode, no result recording have been done. Then In QA02 assign task list ans do sample calculation. Then lot will get sample size as you defined in sampling procedure.

Thanks for your reply. Now as per your Points i did changes in my MIC, Sampling Procedure as given below screen shot

now we have created Production order with 10 Quantity and in result recording by using same thing it is showing 1 as a Inspect, I want 10 Quantity there so that checked and OK quantity i will put in Inspected tab and in Result i will put Defective one.

Please suggest me what i need to change.

Put 10 as sample size as it is shown 1 in you second screenshot. In Sampling Procedure.

Change the sampling procedure as suggested by our colleague Manish .

Also, if you always want  the full order quantity to be inspected ( order qty = Sample qty) then you may achieve so in two ways. Remove the sampling procedure and select 100 % inspection check box in material master for the inspection type. Or assign the 100 % sampling procedure in material master or inspection plan .

Check sample size in sampling procedure, it would be 1 . There is difference between inspected quantity and lot quantity. Inspected qty is amount of qty which is inspected and its result are valid for whole qty(i.e lot qty).

Inspection qty comes from sample size defined in sampling procedure.

1.First thing check the sampling procedure that you have used for MIC.Is that SP has sample size as 1.

2.Second thing is to try with "Single result recording" instead of "summerize" .for this you have to change the control indicators of the MIC & new changes will be applicable from next Inspection lot.

Generally when IL of 03 inspection type is created ,its for whole production order qty,Individual MIC may have different sample size.
