change in planned order dates between apo and ecc

Hi, when we send the palnned orders from apo to ecc observed that the availability dates were changed. generally in apo we plan at the begining of month and observed that the planned orders are getting the availability date approximately in middle of the month. please advise what will be the possible reason for this change? thank you.

Hi Raju,

In the OPU5 also maintain the "Do not adjust the basic dates " in adjust dates selection, this will stop the rescheduling of planned orders in ECC side.

Hi Raju,

The scheduling strategy in APO and ECC should be the same. Please check your scheduling strategies. For example, in APO, Backward scheduling is active and in ECC, forward scheduling is active, then this will cause issues.

In APO, check the scheduling strategy maintained for R/3 integration in the transaction /n/sapapo/rrpcust1. Check the strategy what is the scheduling direction maintained.

In ECC, check the scheduling parameters maintained for your plant and production scheduler combination in the transaction OPU5. Check the scheduling direction maintained here.

These 2 settings are to be the same to have the same date for the planned order in ECC and APO.
