Vendor details in SRM

Hi All,

Can vendor details could be edited/change in SRM? or we can only make any change in r/3 and than update it (BBPUPDVD).

Hi Sunil,

you can change all the vendor data in SRM but they will be overwritten by the next UPD/SYNC report.

If you need local maintenance of vendors - you should disable/not use vendor synchronisation (just replicate periodically new vendors via BBPGETVD). Usually vendors are synched via BBP_VENDOR_SYNC report, planned as a job.

Hi Sunil,

depends on SRM Version. Normally Purchaser has auth to change Vendor via HTML Application (ITS for SRM <= 5.0, WebDynpro for SRM >= 6.0)
