Block authorization to make manual changes in installation fact

Hi Experts ,

I have created one operand of QUANT type. I am changing the values on this Operand through my custom program.

I have a requirement to block the installation if any one tries to change this operand by transaction ES31 (change installation).

This operand should only be updated through my custom program.

No body can make the manual changes in this operand.

How this can be done?

Thanks and Regards,

Jasvinder Kumar

The note provides the functionality and the details.

The maintenance of installation facts should be possible only after a customer-defined dedicated authorization check.

The selection of the possible values for the authorization group field should be supported by an input help to avoid incorrect entries.

A new authorization object for installation facts (E_INSTFACT) is provided and input helps for the authorization group field are provided in transactions of installation (ES30-32), contract (ES20-22) und premise (ES60-62).
