Sales order requirement type need to be change

Hi All,

Need your assistance.

User created sample sales order for customer X and material Y.

At the time of sales order creation Material master not extend for MRP view. so it take requirement type KE in sales order Procurement tab.

And user created delivery for the sales order, now user want to change the requirement type in sales order, seems it's wrong requirement type.

I asked user to do the following:

Delete the delivery document, extend the material master to MRP view.

I thought it will automatically change the requirement type in sales order. but it's not changed automatically and same time it's not allow us to change

manually also. Requirement type in sales order procurement tab will be grayed out.

I have checked OVZG transaction also.

Please help me how to change the reruirement type in Existing sales order or how to remove the grayed out option.

Hi Karthikeyan,

Please try to run your availability check once again in your sales order and after that try to enter the required "Req Type". Else, delete the line item in the sales order and then you will be able to see it in editable mode.
