Hi,
Our Basis team imported the configuration objects from Dev into QA, but the objects not showing when I login and try to change the file directory for QA, since I am the one developed the task in Dev. The object seems all appeared on the changelist of an admin user in QA ID, but NOT under my user. So now I am just wondering:
1. Do all the objects in QA ID have to be activated by that admin user after the import to QA?
2. Is there anyway I (my user) can activate all the objects?
3. Is it a MUST all the objects in ID of QA have to activated after the import in order to be seen by other users? Seems objects for IR no need to activate after import into QA
Really appreciate your input.
Hi Blue,
1. Do all the objects in QA ID have to be activated by that admin user after the import to QA?
you can transfer those object to your id and you can find in your change list.
then you can activate it.
2. Is there anyway I (my user) can activate all the objects?
yes. you can.
3. Is it a MUST all the objects in ID of QA have to activated after the import in order to be seen by other users? Seems objects for IR no need to activate after import into QA
not exactly. but kind of. for IR no need to activate it.
if you want the same as IR for ID you have to do some parameter settings in exchange profile.
steps to activate the objects
1. go to change list and do the search
2.you will get list of users. select nwdi_ctsadmin
3.now select the change list under nwdi_ctsadmin
4. right click and select Tranfer.
5. it will go to your id change list.
now again search for your id as explained in step 1.
then you will find the transported change list under your userid.
then you can activate the objects.

Muniyappan.
