Hi Gurus,
What I want to do indeed should be very simple:
Current Situation:
BS_SAQ100 (Quality-System) <--> PI7 <--> external applications.
Target-Situation:
BS_SAS100 (Sandbox) <--> PI7 <--> external applications
The BS_SAS100 is the copy of the productive system of SAP100 and the customer will replace SAQ with SAS.
I have created technical system and business system of SAS (Sandbox) in SLD.
In the Business system configuration of SAQ I changed the Target Business-System to BS_SAS100 in the Transport tab.
At same time, the source business system of BS_SAS100 is changed to SAQ100 automatically.
Everythinig looks perfect.
Now I export the configuration objects from PI7 by using file-system tranport. Then I import the files in PI7 again.
The imported objects appear still in the BS_SAQ100, but not in the BS_SAS100.
Why?
Could anyone give me any hints?
Thanks a lot in advance!
Regards
Rene
Now I tried to export the configuration objects from productive PI, then importing them into quality PI.
But the communication Component Name is still not replaced with new system BS_SAS100.
Where is the problem?

Hi Harald,
business groups?
you mean the groups in the tab "Integration" of business system?
Yes. I have just 2 groups there: productive and quality.
Depending on which integration server the group will be changed.
INTEGRATION_SERVER_PI7 has group quality
INTEGRATION_SERVER_PIP has group productive.
If I choose INTEGRATION_SERVER_PI7, the group would be changed to quality automatically.
reverse for INTEGRATION_SERVER_PIP too.
Any helps else?
Thanks
Rene
Hi Rene,
check this link for creating transport target and groups.

Hi Rene,
Yes sure, I meant the Business System Groups...sorry for that!
I understand that under Tab "Transport" the Target Business System for the BS_SAQ100 is the BS_SAS100? Otherwise the mapping of the Business Systems does not work automatically.
Are there any issues when exporting to file system? (errors, warnings, etc.)
Best Regards
Harald
Hi Harald,
during exporting there are no error.
But i noticed the following issues:
if I configure the SAS100 with Integration Server INTEGRATION_SERVER_PIP and Group Productive and SAQ100 with Integration Server INTEGRATION_SERVER_PI7 and Group Quality.
Then I assign BS_SAS100 in the PIP.
The transport mapping would be work.
Actually I want to assign BS_SAS100 in PI7, but not in PIP.
But in PI7, it does not work.
It means, the transport cannot be executed in one PI system?
I'm confused. Any helps would be high appreaciated.
Regards
Rene
