Error quantity conversion at VBEP-LMENG

Dear Guru's

I am facing one issue in my customer related to conversion of unit.

My customer created Sales order with quantity in sales unit (CAR) until billing process. And they doesn't know the stock was decimal point at MMBE.

After I checked, the conversion process calculated incorrectly from AUn to BuM.

For example material : F6839
Base unit Measure = BT ( Bottle )
Alternative Unit = CAR ( Carton )

Sales Unit = CAR
Additional Data :

1 BT    = 1       BT

1 CAR   = 36    BT
Order Qty = 30 CAR
Delivery Qty  = 3 CAR
Picking Qty    = 3 CAR
It means = 3 * 36 = 108 BT, but why at delivery item details tab Picking actual quantity delivered in stock keeping units shows 107.988 BT

The conversion was minus "-0.012" , while his stock is still much + -1,000 CAR.

We have check no user exit at there and sales order at table VBAP-KLMENG, VBEP-LMENG, LIPS-LGMNG it
shows the same with delivery "107.988 BT".

This issue appears occasionally from february till now, and we can't reproduce the issue until now.

Can you please explain

if you maintain CAR in sales order why the unit of measure(VRKME) "KAR" is coming in all report level?

KAR is an internal measure units which is CAR as a comercial.

Hi Iwan,

Can you please check Gross Weight of material in material master, i think there is a relation of Gross Weight UOM with Alternate UOM conversion in material master. You can see the field Gross weight where you are maintaining Alternate UOM in material master.
