kiran,
open Java web start . File --> Preferences --> Advanced.
Try making your application jar files storage folder empty from here and again download everything
and increase our virtual memory of our system .

Hi Kiran,
i think your XI J2EE adapter engine is not properly initialized in your XI startup....so just check with your Basis guys if there is any error in your J2EE engine initialization.......if there is any error, then ask your basis guys to restart your XI J2EE engine.......then when your XI J2EE adapter engine is running fine, then you can log in ID......
Thanks,

Hi Kiran,
Not sure why this error is coming, but you may try once by reinstalling J2SE 1.4.2_09 <a href="http://java.sun.com/products/archive/j2se/1.4.2_09/index.html">http://java.sun.com/products/archive/j2se/1.4.2_09/index.html</a>
As from the following error it seems that there is some problem with JAVA installation itself. Please check that you have installed J2SE not J2RE. Give it a try.

you have 3 hints given by the stack trace...
<i>1. Exception while reading index of JAR file aii_ibdir_sbeans.jar in application sap.com/com.sap.xi.directory from the Configuration.</i>
open Java web start . File --> Preferences --> Advanced.
Try making your application jar files storage folder empty from here and again download everything
<i>2. com.sap.engine.frame.core.configuration.ConfigurationException: Error occurred during DB access: -9,223,372,036,854,766,508,</i>
<i>3.Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: [NWMss][SQLServer JDBC Driver]Connection reset by peer: socket write error</i>
Send this to your basis team...may be they'll have a better idea
