hi , pls give me some informatoin about soa
Hi Krishna,
I see you are already overwhemed with information on soa.
To put it in a nutshell,
-SOA is an <b>architectural paradigm</b> and not a product off the shelf.
-<b>Loose coupling of services from the backend, reusability & flexibility</b> are woven into the soa architecture.
-SOA fosters <b>innovation without disrupting business</b>.
-SOA is a way people bet <b>IT companies will operate in the future</b>.
-SOA is <b>not a bing-bang concept,</b>its been around during the CORBA days.
-SAP's version of SOA is called <b>eSOA</b> ,coming from enterprise.
All the SOA information can be found here.

Hi,
As the name suggests <u>"service oriented architecture"</u> is essentially an architecture which is oriented towards the use of services. It is essentially a collection of services. These services are the tools used majorily in SOA for communicating, passing data or coordinating any activity.
Please follow the link for more insight on SOA:

Hi,
In short SOA means enebling your business exposed to services rather than closed objects, so that anybody can use the different services, combine them and use them for different purposes.
Instead of going for complex examples, I will explain you with a simple one.
If we take a Bank, it can expose its services for getting the current balance for an particular account.
This service is openly available ( just ignore the concept of copyrights, authorizations etc. for this example) and can be accessed by user from any platform( and can be integrated with his own application) .
Today 'web services' are the most popular source used for 'SOA'
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Piyush

Hi
SOA is service oriented architecture enabled by Netweaver platform. that provides organizations flexible and adaptive business solutions to rapidly adapt with market needs.
Netweaver provides tools (like VC, CAF) for designing user interfaces and to develope composite applications upon the layer of Enterprise architecture that allows automate the complex end-end scenarios. and flexible to incorporate the business chanhges with out breaking the existing functionality.
these enterprise services are based on web standards which can be published as UDDI (as web service), and can be accessible by any body centrally. which helps companies to achieve strategic ESOA.
points will be rewarded, if helpful.
