Hello friends,

i hv domain knowledge of EAI and SOA and currently working in TIBCO tool.

As of i know in SAP netweaver ,there are four layers....

1.People Integration

2.Process integration

3.Information Integration

4.Application Platform

BPM plays a role in Process integration, and i am not able to understand where ESA plays a role in this Netweaver Architecture...

And hw it will achieved through Netweaver????

And what is the role of XI in this......

And what is the difference between XI and ESA???

Thanks in Advance,

Regards,

Srini

Hi

ESA is Enterprise service oriented architecture, which allows companies to make service enabled. and ESA is enabled by tools provided by Netweaver like VC, CAF, XI, EP.

Netweaver tools allows to develope composite applications at top of the enterprise applications (as enterprise services which in turn can be converted as web service) which automates end-end processes.

XI plays the role of process integration, provides a single point of integration for all kind of systems irrespective of platform or technology.

XI is one of the tool of Netweaver, helps i implementing ESA.

Netweaver platform has developed to achieve the Enterprise services architecture. and XI plays crucial role in achieving ESA.
