Not able to remove extra blank space while downloading SAP query to excel

HI .. all,

I need to download one SAP query where i am using "excel in place" feature.

But when i am downloading it to excel , in one column where price is being captured is coming with extra blank space ahead of it and basically i need to remove manually all those blank space one by one.

How to rectify this issue so that while downloading it will come without extra blank space ahead of price in column.

I have mentioned already that i am using "excel in place" (i hv to use it bcoz downloaded file will be directly updated to website) .

So please let me know , if possible, how to get out of it ?

Hi,

Check the field length of the SAP Field.

In Excel, highlight the whole column which has this issue and right click on it using the mouse. In the column width input the Field Length Value minus 1.

For example, if the SAP Field Length is 10 in Excel maintain it as 9.

This should take care of the issue.

My main motto is to download the data properly by using excel in place option.

Hi,

While Downloding the Data to Excel you have to Options 1.directly downloading to Excel(spread sheet)

2.Exporting the Data to Excel Sheet

if you select the second option any Extra spaces will be Eliminated
