Dear Plant maintenance experts,
I have a questions regarding an integration points between PM and PP, which are:
When a certain equipment has been stopped (breakdown) and a notification has been created on the system that this equipment (production work center) has been breakdown. How will the production planner get this kind of info that his production work center has been stopped working, and if it depends on the data recorded in the notification or not.
Please suggest
thanx

You can make use of workflow concept to inform the users on breakdown of particular equipment. Discuss with your workflow specialists or ABAP consultants on this. This requires development.

This calls for enhancement use, for these situations.
Need to explore user-exits and find a suitable one in areas of
1.Equipment (IEQM prefixes),
2.Notification (QQMA prefixes and IWOC prefixes)
3, Measuring points (IMRC prefixes).
Example:
We have user user-exit IMRC0001 to trigger mails to specified persons, when a measurement reading crosses a predefined limit. (Technical person writes the code in the exit).
In a similar way, through a suitable UE, you may achieve this, like as soon as you create an M2 notification on that PP work center object, the concerned man gets a mail.
OR
simply mail the notification to the concerned person using the GOS icon (General Object Services) at the top of the notification screen.
