Hi All,
I have gone through the links over SDN, and found that for PI integration with Ariba Network, the PI set up can be done within the firewall itself.
Please provide inputs on what all ports required to be opened for communication of PI with Ariba.
Regards,
Ruchi
Hi All,
We are setting up web dispatcher in DMZ between Pi and Ariba for the communication.
For PI, we would be using std 50000 port and ports for Ariba we will get from their end.
We are looking for port information, which needs to be opened in DMZ.or how to set up web dispatcher in front of PI box.
Please Guide.
Regards,
Ruchi

Hi Ruchi,
Ariba being an external system hosted on a cloud platform I would expect the HTTPS port to be 443. Therefore check with your Ariba technical contact to establish the hostname and IP address. If your PI system is located in a DMZ then you may have the ability to configure direct connectivity to Ariba by opening ports on the DMZ firewall. If PI is behind a number of firewalls then you may need to use a proxy server in your configuration.
Hope this is helpful.
Regards,
Nick
