Solution Manger 7.1 SP04 to SP08 upgrade issue

Hi All,

We are trying to upgrade the Solman 7.1 SP04 to SP08 with SUM Tool

SUM TOOL version: 1.0

Support Package Version: 7

Patch Level: 4

ISSUE (screenshot attached)

Repeat Phase

Severe error(s) occurred in phase PREP_GENCHECKS/BATCHCHK_GEN!

Last error code set: Environment variable 'dbs_mss_schema' does not exist

Trouble Ticket Generation

A trouble ticket and an archive with all relevant log files have been generated.

Trouble ticket: "E:\usr\sap\SM7\SUM\abap\log\SAPup_troubleticket.log"

Log archive: "E:\usr\sap\SM7\SUM\abap\log\SAPup_troubleticket_logs.sar"

You can start the module from the start by choosing "Back".

  • Repeat phase PREP_GENCHECKS/BATCHCHK_GEN/BATCHCHK_GEN to continue at the point it stopped
  • Exit program

E:\usr\sap\SM7\SUM\abap\log\SAPup_troubleticket.log (log file data)

Thank you it works, after I add the parameter in Environment variables..

Do you have an environment variable set for your MSS connection?

Are you running SUM as <SID>adm?
