New Transport route between DEV & QAS

Former Member

Hi experts,

I installed DEV & QAS on separate servers. PRD was due on next week. Meanwhile our functional people worked on DEv and want to transport to QAS.

While doing standard config for three landscape, it is asking all the three systems where PRD not yet ready.

Can anyone tell to configure route and layers between these DEV and QAS.

Thanks & Regards

Anil

You can simply create your production system as a virtual system in STMS and replace it once the system is installed.

You configure your consolidation and delivery routes as usual when the virtual system is in place.

Hi Juan,

Thanks for the reply..

Have an another doubt.. How do we replace the Installed PRD with existing Virtual one. do we need to delete the virtual system first?

Once the production system is available simply delete the current virtual system and add the production system in your TMS domain controller

Hi Anil,

in DEV system go to TX STMS and create a new transport domain, then go to QAS system, go to TX STMS an add the QAS system to the DEV transport domain, do everything in client 000.

After add the QAS system go back to DEV and approve the system in the icon systems of the STMS, after you approved the system click on transport route in STMS --> change --> add the 2 systems to the diagram modeler --> edit --> add transport route, then add 2 transport routes one called SAP and one called ZDEV, save your changes and distribute your configuration.

Make your PRD a Virtual system and setup the TMS with 3 servers.
