How to mark proffered material code, which is to be retained among Duplicate materials for Multi operating unit oil company having centralized material master.

The duplicate combinations are.

Duplicate with in operating unit.

Duplicate with multiple operating units (Items shared by more then one operating unit)

Kindly advice.

You have to use Matching Strategy in Matching Mode of MDM Data Manager.

For duplicates within an operating unit,

select the records in Data Manager for the given Operating Unit.

Then select the search results and run the Matching Strategy with the following criteria "Selected Records vs Selected Records"

This will give you the match results within an operational Unit.

For the second case, you can select all the recods in the Data Manager for the set of Operating units, and choose Select Records vs ALL
