PO tax code is not connected to Cenvat GL account..

Dear experts,

While creating a Purchase order, we have put the tax code 27 which is newly created. In the taxes window two conditions JMQ1 & JMOQ are with red light. i.e. inactive even though they are maintained in FV11. If we change the tax code in PO & FV11 to 16 it is working fine.

Second issues is while doing MIRO the excise duty is not captured automatically with tax 27 where as it is working fine with tax code 16.

So I guess I am missing some configuration with tax code 27 & GL account .

I have checked FTXP, OB40 and other settings I found on SCN but not getting the exact problem.

So kindly help me with this problem.

Thanks,

Vishal.

Hi,

Could you please provide a screenshot of PO tax window - with tax analysis. we need to analyse the reason for red signal.

As a guidence, please follow the procedure.

1. Create new tax code in FTXP.

2. Maintain the condition record for the required condition types in FV11. Please note to maintain the 100% condition record against the statistical condition types like JMX1.

3. Maintain the GL against the tax code & account keys (used against the condition types in tax procedue) in OB40.

4. Create a PO with this tax code and check the tax calculation.

Also, if the GL is not maintained, the system will show the pop up message for that. Please check whether you are getting any such message in MIGO or MIRO.

There is no GL account maintenance for excise conditions based on tax code.

Hope its helpful.

Hi Vishal,

The Qty conditions are controlled by %conditions.

In the structure they are designed in such a way that without the

%conditions the Qty conditions will not calculate.

Maintain JMIP condition with 0% rate for the mentioned

scenario and then check MIRO. You should have JMIP with 0% in your PO.

Also ensure that Qty conditions are correctly classified in J_1IEXCDEFN

table for TAXINN tax procedure.
