.Net Connector problem

Hi,

I have a problem regarding SAP .net connector. In a machine using Windows 2000, Visual Studio .Net 2003 and SAP .NET connector 2.0, in server explorer, when adding an application server, there is an error when trying to search for RFC functions available. When adding an app server using SAPLogon.ini destination type, error message is: “open file ‘c:winntsapmsg.ini’ failed”. When using windows xp in another machine there is no such error, and no such file. When adding an app server using custom connection, there is an error regarding user or password invalid. Is there a solution?

Thanks

Inês Pina

SAPLogon-based destinations will only work if you have installed SAPGUI and used SAPLOGON.EXE to define some destinations.

Custom settings should allways work, but you need to specify all settings correctly, mainly application server, system number, username, client, and password.

Hi,

I have done all that. I made custom connection in another machine and I had no error, but in this machine using same settings I am not able to do it.

Thank you anyway.
