Problem with running VF06 and Factory calendar.

In our business scenario we need to create billing documents in a batch by using the tcode VF06. Now we also want that this batch job will not run on any particular day .

Is there any process where by we can achieve this ( may be thru the setting in Factory calendar).

Any idea on this issue will be highly appreciated.

we can specify the date for invoice in the SCAL by creating a factory calendar which contains special rules instead of working days. This special rules represent the days on which billing should be carried out.

The ID no of factory calendar must be specified in billing screen of the customer ie. XD01->sales area ->Billing documents tab->Invoice dates.

Then you can perform the billing in that particular date which you have have specified in factory calendar

small correction, choose the Start Condition button instead of the Job details button.

Hi rajan;

This need not be done thru Factory calendar.

There are what are called Job restrictions. In your job choose the job details, this you will get by double clicking the job.

Inside the Job details you will find a restrictions button at the bottom. Inside this you will have various calendars where in you can specify if the job should run on weekdays. If the job has to be pushed if it is a holiday and lot of other options.

This will solve your issue.
