in XI communication channel : gave the gateway , host and the program ID

When I test the rfc destination it gives me error "program not registered"...

In ECC for the rfc dest I have given the values as localhost and the sap gateway... when I do the connection test it shows "Transaction program not registered"

Also , I did no tunderstand how the data flows from ecc to PI , cos we have nt specified anythign abt P in the rfc destaintion

PLs share ur thoughts

Hi James,

As Mark said you need to register your Program ID.

Thanks and Regards,

Hello,

and pay attention to Note 1069911 - GW: Changes to the ACL list of the gateway (reginfo). Check that host and program id are allowed in file /usr/sap/<SID>/<INSTANCE>/data/reginfo. REgards,

Mathieu

Hello James,

It just means that the ProgramID in your RFC destination is not registered as a JCO User in the PI system. To do this:

1. Go to NWA, the URL should be http(s)://host:port/nwa

2. Then go to Configuration Management -> Connectivity -> Jco RFC Provider

3. Create a JCO User and provide the details of the your XI system under the Server Configuration

4. Save and Start the service.

Hope this helps,

Mark

James,

Please give a screenshot of your RFC destination. Use default gateway. Activation type as Registered program.

Please check the below link as well

Hope it helps!

Dear James,

you have to give PI's gatewayhost and gateway service in RFC destination.

activate the RFC channel and do the connection test in ECC.

check this..TCP-IP connection error in RFC-RFC scenario
