Absence of Excise group while mainating number range

Dear experts,

Issue - Newly created excise group 7B in quality system is not present in Number range object

Error message -

Excise group........ 7B does not exist

Message no. NR011

Observation -

In Development system -

I have created excise group 7B in development system.

It is available in J_1INEXCGRP in development system.

Now, 7B is transported to quality system and is available in quality system.

In quality system -

7B is not visible while maintaining number range for number range objects.

I can not see 7B in table J_1INEXCGRP.

Can you please guide me what is root cause and how to fix it?

Hi Chaitanya,

There is a technical constraints in transporting the excise group
created through customising and udating the table J_1INEXCGRP.

I request you to create the excise group manually in table J_1INEXCGRP
and maintain the number range.

It worked. Thanks a lot for help. I could not update the table entry directly into quality system though. I had to create a TR manually from development system and move the changes to quality.

When ever you create the New excise group , you need to manually update the table J_1IEXCGRP as there is some technical problem with the excise group config transport.

You need to do it in QAS as well PRD manually through Table entry.. And then you will be able to see the Excise group while maintaining number range.
